The return of the unfaithful blogger

If I were to recap the thoughts that transpired since my last post... yeah I don't even want to think about that.

Where am I now?

I am lost and wandering. I have a guide and have visions of the path, but as I look back --- the road is strange. I have walked a path I did not know. Everything is foreign to me.

As I look back on this past year... maybe these past years... there is so much that did not go according to plan. So many changes I would have cringed and dreaded if not fought to avoid in years past. My life is not how I foresaw it, yet it was the one given me.

My world was turned upside down and I can't say I've fully recovered from it... I think its still turning, still flipping, still out of control. And with that description... which I have to say is quite accurate... despite the chaos, I praise my God cause I am still sane. For some reason, I can still find peace. His path of chaos, the road he led me through. The chaos over the last 3 years has trained me to better handle the chaos he plans for me now.

Life is not as I would have liked it to me. He's giveth and he's taketh away. He is still who he is and for that I smile. He is and always has been a good God. Too good. Despite myself, he is gracious. So while I may not have planned the things that have happened, I'm still confident his plan is best.

Hello my friends. Please pray for me. I am tired and stretched. Busy and occupied. I may be lonely or disheartened. In need of encouragement or exhortation. Perhaps rebuke. I may be enjoying success or picking myself up after failure.

And that is life. If you pray for those things, I thank you. But if you only have a moments time, then I ask for this. That God's been faithful in guiding my steps up till now... and as the journey gets more tiring and more confusing... its been easier for me to forget his guiding hand. So please pray that I may be desperate for his wisdom... his guidance. That i will earnestly seek him and his will.

And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ—to the glory and praise of God.
